Are the poojas actually performed by your family?

Haan ji, 100%. Every pooja is done by our own pujaris — father, chachaji, and cousins trained in our family home at Uttarkashi. We do not outsource to any other panditji.

How will I know my pooja was really performed?

We share a live video call at the start (during your Sankalp), and a full recorded video after the pooja is complete. Your name and gotra are chanted aloud in the sankalp.

What is Sankalp and why do you ask my name & gotra?

Accepted Answer

Sankalp is the sacred vow taken at the start of a pooja, dedicating it to a specific person. Your name, gotra (family lineage) and wish are chanted so the punya of the pooja goes to you.

Question 4

I don't know my gotra. Can I still book?

Accepted Answer

Bilkul. Just tick the 'Don't know my gotra' checkbox. We will use 'Kashyap Gotra' by default, which is traditionally used when the gotra is unknown.

How is the prasad delivered?

Prasad is packed with a handwritten card and shipped via BlueDart / India Post within 24 hours of the pooja. Standard delivery is 3-6 days across India, 5-10 days internationally.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Cancellations more than 24 hours before your booked slot are fully refundable. After samagri has been arranged, only a partial refund is possible. See our refund policy for full details.
