Satvik meal before sunset. Sleep on the floor. Sankalp for tomorrow's vrat with tulsi patra in hand.
Brahma muhurat snan, Vishnu japa, Bhagavad Gita path. Nirjala (waterless) or phalahar (fruits, milk, sabudana) — never grains, dal, or onion-garlic.
Jagran with Vishnu Sahasranama. Light a ghee diya for Bhagwan Vishnu. Offer tulsi patra with each mantra.
Break fast in the parana window with tulsi jal, then a satvik meal offered first to Vishnu. Daan to a Brahmin completes the vrat.
