Refund, Cancellation & Shipping Policy

This policy applies to all bookings and orders placed on sanatanistore.in, operated by TheAiGeeks Lab. It explains when you can cancel, what is refundable, how long refunds take, and how shipping works. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email namaste@sanatanistore.in (Mon–Sat · 8am – 8pm IST) with yourorder/booking ID, registered name and reason. You can also raise the request fromMy Account → Bookings / Orders. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours.

2. Poojas

  • More than 24 hours before your slot: full refund, or free reschedule.
  • Within 24 hours of the slot (samagri already arranged and acharya assigned): 50% refund; the balance covers samagri and acharya commitment.
  • After the pooja has been performed: no refund — the sankalp and punya are already completed in your name.
  • No-show: if you are unreachable for a live online pooja, the acharya still performs the ritual with your submitted sankalp and the recording is shared; this is treated as performed and is non-refundable.
  • If we cancel or cannot perform on the confirmed date and no alternative slot works for you: 100% refund.

3. Astrology consultations

  • More than 4 hours before the slot: full refund. Rescheduling is always free.
  • Within 4 hours, or missed slot: non-refundable, since the astrologer’s time is blocked.
  • Astrologer unavailable: free reschedule or 100% refund, your choice.
  • A completed consultation is non-refundable; guidance outcomes are not grounds for a refund.

4. Acharya AI (per-minute)

  • Minutes already consumed are non-refundable.
  • If a technical fault on our side interrupts a session, the affected minutes are credited back to your wallet.
  • Unused wallet balance stays in your wallet for future use; it is non-transferable and not withdrawable as cash.

5. Handwritten Kundli — non-refundable

Handwritten Kundli reports are written personally by hand and prepared uniquely for your birth details, so once writing has begun the order is strictly non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. You may cancel for a full refund only if you request it before writing starts — usually within 12 hours of ordering — and we confirm that status to you. Cancellation and refund requests can be raised in My Account; every request goes through admin review, and you will see the decision and status history there. Corrections to a birth detail typographical error are made free of cost; a rewrite requested after delivery due to details you supplied incorrectly is chargeable.

6. Products, samagri and ritual kits

  • Before dispatch: cancel for a full refund.
  • After dispatch: cancellation is not possible; you may raise a return request within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused, unopened and in original packaging.
  • Damaged, defective or wrong item: share unboxing photos or a short video within 48 hours of delivery — we will replace it or refund in full, including return shipping.
  • Not returnable: prasad, energised/abhimantrit items, opened samagri, edible or perishable items, and personalised or made-to-order products — for hygiene and sanctity reasons.
  • Merchandise: size exchange is available once within 7 days of delivery if unworn and unwashed, with tags intact.

7. Prasad delivery issues

If prasad arrives damaged, share a photo on WhatsApp within 48 hours and we will re-ship at no cost. If a courier marks a shipment lost, we re-ship or refund in full after the courier’s investigation closes.

8. Shipping timelines and charges

  • Prasad: dispatched 24–72 hours after the pooja.
  • Products & kits: dispatched within 2–5 working days.
  • Domestic delivery: typically 3–8 working days after dispatch.
  • International delivery: typically 7–21 working days, subject to customs. Import duties and local taxes are payable by the recipient.
  • Shipping charges are calculated by weight and destination and shown at checkout before payment. Tracking details are shared on WhatsApp or email at dispatch.
  • Estimates are indicative; courier, weather, customs or festival-season delays are outside our control.

9. Refund processing time and method

  • Approved refunds are initiated within 3 working days of approval.
  • Money reaches your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking) in 5–10 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • International card refunds may take up to 14 working days and are converted at your bank’s prevailing rate; currency-conversion differences and bank charges are not reimbursable.
  • Wallet refunds are credited instantly. Payment gateway fees on refunded transactions are borne by us.
  • Partial refunds are calculated on the amount actually paid, excluding shipping already incurred.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a bank dispute — most issues are resolved faster directly. Fraudulent chargebacks on services already performed may lead to account suspension and recovery of costs.
